He has made outstanding contributions to the field of CVD diamond functional materials and has been awarded the National Scientific and Technological Progress Second Prize and the Ministerial-level Scientific and Technological Progress First Prize. In 2019, he was awarded the "Commemorative Medal for the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China" for his outstanding contributions.
